How Does Two-Way Radio Work

A two-radio contains a transmitter and a receiver. These two parts allow the radio to both send and receive information. The transmitter translates sounds into electrical signal. Then they're amplified and sent into the air through an antenna as radio waves that travel super fast an different frequencies. Radio waves are used to broadcast sounds and pictures around the world! Finally, a receiver (in another two-way radio, for example) picks up the radio waves, converts them back into sound.
