The Beauty of Hybrid Tea Roses

Hybrid tea roses and the original tea rose are the world’s favourite roses and are available in many gorgeous colors.

1. Hybrid tea roses are among the most beautiful flowers in the world. They are the florist's rose.

2. The blossoms are fantastic and each flower can have as many as 60 or more petals. You can not find a more beautiful cut flower.

3. The fragrance also makes the hybrid tea rose an excellent choice to give as a bouquet or to grow in your garden.

4. Hybrid tea roses are different from other roses because they produce their flowers usually one bloom to a long stem rather than in clusters. Most hybrid tea roses produce flowers during the entire growing season and the plants grow 3 to 6 feet tall.

5. Caring for hybrid tea roses is no more difficult than other roses although you do need to give them special care in colder climates. They are no more or no less pest or disease resistant than other kinds of roses.

6. ‘La France’ was the first hybrid tea rose grown in 1867 by a French nurseryman, Jean-Baptiste Guillot. He cross-bred two old garden roses and developed an entirely new kind of rose.
7. Hybrid tea roses should be planted 18 to 36 inches apart or they can be planted with other flowers in large pots.

8. There are hundreds of choices when looking for hybrid tea roses. Choices can be made by color, names or fragrance. There are hybrid tea roses named after famous people including presidents and their wives.

9. The very first tea rose was a cross between a China rose and Rosa gigantea. These plants are more bushy than the hybrid tea rose but the well-shaped flower buds remind us of today’s modern hybrid tea roses. Tea roses come in shades of white, pink and yellow.

Start thinking about adding a tea rose or hybrid tea rose to your garden this year. Ken Austin runs a website devoted to gardening and landsacping. Visit our gardening articles section for gardening ideas and gardening tips, or visit our gardening resources section for extended information.

Be An Expert

In order to make it in today’s business world you have to become an expert in whatever it is you are selling. One of my friends, Craig S., said to me a few weeks ago “Jeff first you are selling computer parts, then software and now movies and each time no matter what you are dealing with you know everything about that product, How do you do that?” If you are dealing in cosmetics or bathroom accessories or whatever you must learn everything there is to know about your products, you have to become an expert. Sales is about educating people, you have to educate your customers in the products you are selling.

About 10 years ago I had bought a lot of software that Microsoft had donated to a charity. This software was older versions of Microsoft Office, MS Works, MS Windows, etc..At first nobody wanted this product they all wanted only the latest and greatest. I then called Microsoft to find out what could be done with this older software. I learned that within 90 days of the date of purchase that the End User could get a free upgrade to the latest and greatest. The only cost would be Shipping with Airborne Express which is overnight shipping I then had to educate my customersabout what I had found out. I launched a big dvefrtising campaign on TV, Radio and newspapers offering MS Office for $199, the MSRP was $799. When someone called or came in I told them this was an older version but if you take your receipt and fax it to Microsoft you will be overnighted a FREE upgrade for the cost of shipping. This was like making an extra $600. I then sold thousand of this older MS Product retail plus over 10,000 were sold wholesale.

I originally bought the MS Office, version 1.6, for only $15 each. I was selling them for $65 wholesale and $199 retail but I showed my wholesale customers where they were saving almost $400 Dealer cost from distribution was almost $500 and I showed my retail customers where waiting a day for an upgrade was saving them almost $600. MS Sen t me a nasty letter that year saying I cost them over $5 million in lost sales but the reality is I got them registered users who would buy upgrades and other products. Some of these customers would have endud up buying someone else’s office suite because they didn’t want to spend almost $800. I turned those people into MS Customers.

If you educate them the sales will be there You know all those junk emails you get? The ones that a lot of people are calling SPAM? I save all those emails because if the ad copy got my attention then its something I can use to get the attention of my customers and also I figure they have to be buying their products from somebody so why shouldn’t it be me. A few years ago I tried to partner up with somebody who at the time I thought was so much like me that we’d compliment each other. I could cover his weakenesses and he would cover mine. Building on each others strengths. Jeffrey has over 2 decades experience in the business world. Halloween Treats

You have to be prepared always for the Halloween nights. You may never know when the kiddies of your neighborhood ring the bell and shouts “trick or treat”. You can create the spooky ambience by using sound effects and fog machines. But the ultimate effects can be brought by the delicious Halloween dishes that look spooky just match the note of the Halloween. As 31st is in the apple harvesting season, different apple dishes are made like candy apples. But after some people started passing pins and razor blades in apple candy, it became less popular. There are some dishes like the following that look so weird, but they carry the essence of the occasion of Halloween. These dishes are given such names that you can identify them within moments as the part of Halloween recipes. Some of them are awful arachnids, eerie eyeballs, freaky witches' fingers, brittle merangue bones, savory brain shrimp spread, thick sugar cookies, professional butter cream frosting, pumpkin pie, salami and cream cheese wraps and jack o'lantern cheese and crackers. Now, they get such a look that perhaps any other time of the year you will not go for them.

Some more dishes in the Halloween recipe list are tricky crab triangles, spooky sandwiches, creepy crispy crunchies, deviled eggs, decayed corpse chips with entrail salsa, spicy bat wings dried cherry scabs, tooth decay fodder, oddly orange oreos, witches’ brew (for the alcoholic) and blooding human heart. Some of them are really easy to cook. But some others may not be that easy. But once you put any of them in your treat, the success would be beyond imagination. For the recipes, you do not have to try very hard. Browse the Internet and you can find our site. We are ready with every recipe just to help you to make your Halloween party a success. If it is a party for your kids you have kids’ special recipes to select from. And if you are throwing party for your friend, we have the solutions too.
